Summary

Metal-detecting at this location in 2013, 2014 and 2024 recovered a range of metal objects, including an undated copper alloy bead; a Late Iron Age/Roman brooch; Roman brooches, a decorative furniture stud, furniture knob and copper alloy figurine of a standing goat; Early Saxon sleeve clasps and a pin with wire suspension ring; a Late Saxon stirrup terminal, copper alloy weight and lead probable gaming piece; a medieval strap end and bar mount and a post-medieval buckle and probable sword-belt fitting.
