Summary

A ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on an aerial photograph taken in 2013. This is probably the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. The ring ditch may instead be associated with the remains a possible former post medieval extraction pit visible as a low earthwork on visualised lidar data, approximately 25m to the north of this record.

Full Description

A ring ditch is visible as a cropmark on an aerial photograph taken in 2013 (S1). This is probably the remains of a Bronze Age round barrow. Two other ring ditches are visible in close proximity, NHER 58858 approximately 100m to the south and NHER 53225 approximately 300m to the west.
