Summary

Metal-detecting in 2013 and 2024 recovered an Early Neolithic flint scraper; Roman, Late Saxon and medieval pottery sherds; Roman and medieval coins; medieval to post-medieval jettons and tokens and a number of other, Late Bronze Age, Roman and medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Late Bronze Age awl; Roman brooches and a medieval harness buckle, pendant, mount, end cap from whittle-tang knife and copper alloy and lead seal matrices.
