Summary

In 1959 a Roman sandstone upper quern stone was found during farming operations. Fieldwalking and metal-detecting between 2008 and 2016 recovered post-medieval pottery sherds; a possible post-medieval pantile fragment; medieval and post-medieval coins and a medieval harness pendant.

March-April 2008. Systematic Fieldwalking and Metal-detecting Survey.
Field survey on proposed route of Sheringham Shoals Offshore Windfarm Grid Connection (Field 28).
Finds recovered included:
4 post-medieval pottery sherds, 1 copper alloy sheet fragment and 1 iron spherical object.
1 ?post-medieval ?pantile.
2 undatable lead waste fragments
