Summary

Metal-detecting between 2013 and 2017 recovered Neolithic/Bronze Age flint flakes, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval token and Late Iron Age, Roman, Late Saxon, and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Late Iron Age coin die; a Roman brooch; Late Saxon silver ingot fragments; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval strap-plate; a medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel leg and copper alloy chafing dish fragment and post-medieval spoons and a finger ring.
