Summary

Metal-detecting in 2013 and 2024 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins and a number of other Late Iron Age/Roman to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Late Iron Age/Roman brooch and cosmetic mortar fragment; Roman brooches and a pendant; a Late Saxon stirrup terminal; a Late Saxon/medieval openwork cross-staff terminal; a medieval buckle, lead seal matrix and lead ampulla and a post-medieval buckle, handle escutcheon plate, tap key and gold posy finger ring.
