Summary

Metal-detecting between 2013 and 2024 recovered Iron Age, Late Saxon/medieval, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; a medieval roof tile fragment; Late Iron Age, Roman and medieval to post-medieval coins; post-medieval jettons and tokens and Bronze Age, Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include a Middle Bronze Age gold penannular ring and Late Bronze Age awl; Roman brooches, a finger ring, lock bolt and pin; an Early Saxon buckle; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval binding strip from a box or casket, copper alloy and lead seal matrices and lead pot mends; a medieval/post-medieval purse fragment, copper alloy vessel fragments, copper alloy rings, a silver gilt finger ring and lead weight and post-medieval harness mounts, book clasps, a bell, spur fragment, sword belt mount, incomplete iron spurs, lead cloth seal and lead probable ownership or verification ring attached to pottery vessel handle.

1 medieval/post-medieval coin, a buckle, 3 copper alloy rings, 3 copper alloy vessel fragments and lead weight.
3 post-medieval coins, 3 jettons, 1 token, 3 pottery sherds, 2 buttons, 2 dress hooks, a buckle, hooked sword-belt mount, 2 book clasps, bell, harness mount and 3 lead cloth seals.
