Summary

Metal-detecting at this location between 2013 and 2024 recovered a medieval pottery sherd; medieval coins and a range of other, Roman and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Roman brooch; medieval/post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval casket key, harness fitting, drop handle from copper alloy vessel and silver seal matrix; a medieval/post-medieval purse bar and a post-medieval pipe tamper, scabbard chape, crotal bell and unidentified copper alloy object.

Roman brooch.
1 medieval pottery sherd, buckles, a casket key, harness fitting and drop handle from copper alloy vessel.
Medieval/post-medieval purse bar.
Post-medieval buckle, pipe tamper, crotal bell, scabbard chape and unidentified copper alloy object.
