Summary

Metal-detecting in 2013 recovered a medieval coin as well as undatable, Bronze Age and medieval to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include undated metalworking debris; a possible Middle Bronze Age rapier blade and a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead; a medieval papal bulla and a sword or dagger pommel; medieval/post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments and lead balls and a post-medieval crotal bell, button and a buckle.
