Summary

Nos 146 and 148 form a three storey street range with 17th century rear ranges. The front ranges were refaced in the 19th century, and are of flint with brick quoins and dressings. There are late 19th century shopfronts, and the rear of No 146 has one blocked 17th century casement on the north wall.

Description: Street range with 17th century rear ranges. Front ranges refaced in 19th century. Flint with brick quoins and dressings three storeys. Five irregularly spaced 2nd floor windows. Late 19th century shopfronts. Rear of No 148:- Flint and brick. Roof not visible. Centre and left-side 20th century doors Scattered fenestration including one 17th century four-light casement. Stepped brick cornice. Rear of No 146 has one blocked 17th century casement on north wall.
Grade II

January 2006. Building Survey.
Survey of outbuildings at rear of No 148 comes to conclusion that they are mostly of recent date. This also mentions the 17th century rear of the main house.
