January 2014. Rapid Identification Survey. Contexts 59 and 61.
A water and vegetation filled pond, linked by a channel to an infilled lake-like feature.
Together these features would have formed the eastern part of the lake complex within Lynford Park (HER 30470), as shown on the Ordnance Survey 1st edition 6 inch map (S1).
