Full Description
18th-century house. Occupied in the mid 1800s by William Whiter, keeper for the Holkham Estate, who left a “time capsule” in an upstairs wall, comprising a linen bag with a penknife, a horse stirrup, a tiny lucky horseshoe, a coin and his notebook dated 10 October 1836 (S1).
