Map

THESE CROPMARKS WERE PREVIOUSLY RECORDED UNDER NHER 12142.

1990.
Ring ditch claimed on St Joseph's list of air photographs at this very approximate grid reference.
Grid reference is correct for centre of group of two ring ditches, various linear marks (not all plotted) and enclosure cut by pipe trench.
See NAU air photographs.
There is a possibility that the ring ditches may be connected with a searchlight station known to be in the area.
Area of cropmarks extended westwards by 1990 photography (S1) to include further enclosures and trackway.
D. Edwards (NLA), 17 December 1990.

These cropmarks appear to extend further east and south, and are also visible on (S2). They also include many of the field boundaries visible on (S3) and (S4).
A. Cattermole (HES), 23 October 2014.
