Summary

Metal-detecting in 2014 and 2018 by Elden Tours and other finders recovered a medieval coin; a Roman brooch and silver finger ring; a Middle/Late Saxon pin; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval casket key, coin weight and part of a candlestick; a medieval/post-medieval thimble and book clasp and post-medieval harness mounts, crotal bells, a cloth seal and a sword scabbard chape.

Full Description

August-September 2014. Metal-detecting. Elden Tours, Field GF. [1].
Roman brooch a silver finger ring fragment with oval bezel.
Middle/Late Saxon pin.
Medieval buckles, a strap-end, casket key, coin weight and part of a candlestick.
Medieval/post-medieval hooked tags, a button, thimble and a book clasp.
Post-medieval buckles, harness mounts, crotal bells, a cloth seal and a sword scabbard chape.

The Roman silver finger ring fragment was disclaimed as Treasure (Ref: 2014 T922), and returned to the finder.
