Summary

This site lies within the Saxon shore fort. However, no significant archaeological features were encountered. Three prehistoric worked flints including a Late Neolithic to Bronze Age side-scraper were recovered, along with a small number of residual Roman pottery sherds.

This site lies within the Saxon shore fort. However, no significant archaeological features were encountered. Three prehistoric worked flints including a Late Neolithic to Bronze Age side-scraper were recovered, along with a small number of residual Roman pottery sherds.
