Full Description
October 2013. Systematic metal-detecting.
A concentration of fragments of aluminium from aircraft fuselages, some of which are twisted, bent or affected by heat, are probably evidence for a direct impact. Aircraft are known to have had accidents at North Creake Airfield (NHER 1966) during World War Two.
See (S1) for further information.
A. Cattermole (HES), 27 January 2015.
