Summary

A watching brief in 2012 and 2013 revealed no significant archaeological features. Finds from the site comprised medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds, and post-medieval clay tobacco pipe, brick and tile.

July 2012 and March 2013. Watching Brief.
Monitoring of groundworks associated with removal of fuel tank and erection of a single new dwelling.
No significant archaeological features were encountered. The earliest finds from this site were eight sherds of medieval pottery dating from the 11th to 14th centuries. Post-medieval finds included pottery sherds, clay tobacco pipe, brick and tile.
