Map

July 2008. Walkover Survey.
Rapid Earthwork Identification Survey (Coupe 42010).
Three features were identified in this area, a probable post-medieval extraction pit and two very indistinct banks of uncertain date.
This site lies immediately to the east of the Fossditch linear earthwork (NHER 1089) and it is possible that the infilled ditch associated with the bank may pass through this area. As a result it was recommended that destumping was avoided in a strip along the western edge of this coupe.
See report (S1) for plan and additional details.
