Summary

In 1969 a small number of human skeletal remains were recovered from a sewer trench being laid along Gilman Road. These may have come from the site of St Magdalen's Chapel, which is known to have been situated in this area.

Human skeletal remains recovered from sewer trench being laid along Gilman Road.
Parts of at least two bodies recovered (right leg mainly) - one from just to the front of the Lazar House building and another about a third of the way along the side. A third seen in the centre of the trench about the same depth as the first, 3ft 6in (1m).
