February 2004. Field Observation.
More detailed inspection suggests that the nave is early Norman; the relationship of the base of the round tower is unclear, but it was remodelled in about 1300. 14th century north nave door and window; aisle is probably all of 1440’s either retaining Decorated traits or reusing some windows. One 15th century north window. Sunday school added 1835, chancel mostly rebuilt 1875, roof replaced and tower refaced 1896. Base of rood screen. Some unusual pews. Very fine brass of donor of aisle.
See unpublished report (S3) for further details.
