Full Description
Watermill. A mill on this site marked on (S1).
Exterior in pebble dash. 2 storeys; a third storey clad in corrugated iron. Three sackhoists on this level. Boarded up and for sale. This building is 19th or early 20th century. Changed in 1933 from water to water and oil. In recent years the water level droped necessitating engine power and the final closure.
Visisted by E. Rose (NAU), 15 May 1980.
E. Rose (NAU), 19 January 1982.
Renovated as private housing.
E. Rose (NAU), 18 November 1986.
The ironclad third storey is not shown on photograph of 1907 (S2).
E. Rose (NAU), 30 November 1987.
Indeed the mill as converted bears virtually no resemblance to what was there before.
Visit E. Rose (NAU), 4 December 1987.
