A World War Two spigot mortar emplacement presumably protecting the B1440 road bridge over the River Babingley in Hillington Parish. The concrete base and central pintle survive in thick vegetation. Discovered during survey in advance of potential river restoration. Map location is approximate, based on Grid reference and information supplied by Norfolk Rivers Trust.
