September 2014. Historic Building Recording.
Record made of Limekiln farmhouse ahead of demolition in association with the construction of a replacement dwelling.
The building was a small single storey farmhouse, probably originating in the late 18th century and built of chalk blocks with attic dormer windows and end gable chimney stacks. It had a modern concrete pantile roof but as the pitch was around 40 degrees with a parapet at one end, it was probably originally thatched.
See report (S1) for full details.
