Summary

In 1969 part of a human skeleton was found at a level with St Andrews Street. It possibly originated from the churchyard of St Cross Church which was demolished in 1551.

1969. Located about 16m (52ft) due south of the southwest corner of the Exchange or 33m (108ft) from the kerb in St Andrew's Street and about 2.3m (7ft 6in) down.
Part of a human skeleton found at a level with St Andrews Street. Possibly from churchyard of St Crowche, St Cross.
St Cross Church demolished in 1551.
Remains held by NCM.
