Full Description
This 18th century hall was constructed on the site of an earlier, moated Tudor house (NHER 10175) constructed by Sir Ralph Shelton in the late 15th century. The 18th century home still stands within the square Tudor moat. A 16th century jettied outbuilding (NHER 60713) survived within the grounds until the late 1980’s or early 1990’s and an early 17th century brick barn (NHER 53940) also remains.
This building was formerly recorded under NHER 10175.
