Summary

In January 2014 a systematic fieldwalking and metal-detecting survey recovered post-medieval pottery sherds and a number of post-medieval metal objects, including an iron horseshoe, buttons and coins. Three trial trenches excavated here in either October 2004 or June 2006 revealed no archaeologically significant features or deposits. No finds were recovered.
