Summary

In 2003 a limited field survey recovered no finds. A subsequent geophysical survey did however identify a number of potentially archaeologically significant anomalies in this area, including linear features and several possible pits.

Magnetometry survey of area on proposed route of A47 Blofield to North Burlingham dualling (Area O).
Positive linear anomalies of probable archaeological significance present across this area. Discrete positive anomalies may represent pits. A negative linear anomaly may represent a former earthwork or bank.
