Installation of a new discharge main required for sewerage upgrades was carried out under archaeological supervision.
This work was centred on the existing roadway fronting St Peter’s church (NHER 8432). No archaeological finds were recovered and features observed were limited to the make-up layers forming the modern road. The churchyard does not appear to have extended into this area.
