Full Description
April 2013. Rapid Identification Survey. HA 45.
An irregular earthwork feature, measuring 35m by 15m by up to 0.8m deep. It has gently sloping sides and an undulating base (which includes some mounds). It appears to cut a parish boundary bank (NHER 60143).
The feature is probably a quarry, excavated for sand and gravel. It may have been associated with Home Farm (which is located to the east).
D. Robertson (HES), 10 July 2015.
