Full Description
January 2014. Rapid Identification Survey. HA 75.
Two semi circular conjoined hollows dug into the side of a slight natural ridge. They are up to 9.5m wide and up to 1m deep; their joint length is 26m. They could be small opportune post medieval quarries, although it is possible they were excavated during the creation of a forestry ride in the 20th century.
D. Robertson (HES), 10 July 2015.
