Summary

Five field boundary banks, three of which have possible veteran oaks and pines standing on them. These banks, along with other field and plantation boundaries in the area (NHER 61090, 61092 and 61093), are particularly important as they represent, and are surviving evidence for, the subdivision of Santon Warren (NHER 54065) during the 19th century.

Four westnorthwest to eastsoutheast aligned banks and one bank aligned northnorthwest to southsoutheast. The widths of the banks vary between 4m and 8m. They are all 0.4m tall. Three (HA 27, 46 and 47) have possible veteran oaks and pines standing on them.
These banks are on the lines field boundaries shown on (S1). Three of them (HA 27, 46 and 47) are shown on this map as supporting tree rows/belts.
These banks, along with other field and plantation boundaries in the area (NHER 61090, 61092 and 61093), are particularly important as they represent, and are surviving evidence for, the subdivision of Santon Warren (NHER 54065) during the 19th century.

The post medieval to modern boundary banks described above are visible as earthworks on imagery from a recent lidar survey (S2). They have not been mapped as they are depicted on modern and historical Ordnance Survey maps.
