Full Description
Church Farm Barn, now converted to residential dwelling. Previously recorded under NHER 12607.
1988. Building Survey.
Appraisal of the history and architectural interest of a timber framed barn at Church Farm. It is described as a timber framed threshing barn with opposed threshing doors, constructed in the early 18th century. A rick built gable end was added in the later 18th century, and it was re-roofed in the 19th century. The appraisal does not include a location map and therefore its relationship to farmhouse remains unknown.
See report Information from (S1).

May 1992. Building Survey.
A visual inspection and structural appraisal of the early 18th century barn was carried out pursuant to the possible conversion of the barn into a dwelling. The surveyors found the timber framed structure of the barn to be in good condition but noted that a single storey lean-to over the entire length of the south side of the barn would need to be corrected.
See report (S2) and correspondence in file for further details.
