Full Description
September 2008. Building Survey.
Survey of Lane Farm farmhouse, prior to its proposed demolition.
The farmhouse is a two storey building, the exterior of which has been pebble dashed, thus masking any architectural detail. The southern wall is not rendered, and shows that the farmhouse is brick built in English bond. There are two chimney stacks built using a stretcher pattern, implying they may have been replaced. The roof is of slate and varies in pitch. There is a modern brick porch is situated centrally on the west wall.
This house was probably built in the early 19th-century.
