Pre 1990. Stray Find.
In 1991 a number of flint implements from Trunch were seen by J. J. Wymer (NAU) and drawn by P. Robins (NCM). These appear to have been objects found by [1] and were identified as:
2 Neolithic flaked flint axeheads, one reminiscent of Mesolithic. See (S4), which notes that both are possibly Mesolithic.
1 Neolithic flint pick. See (S5).
2 Neolithic polished axeheads. Late Neolithic, one very late. See (S6) and (S7). One was probably the axehead that had been found and reported in 1970 (see above).
It was noted that the finder was very vague about the provenance of these objects, and that one or more may be from the area of NHER 28291.
Amended by P. Watkins (HES), 24 June 2014.
