Summary

An excavation in advance of works in 1982 recovered post medieval pottery fragments from disturbed ground and revealed three human skeletons.

Excavation by B. Ayers for Norfolk Archaeological Unit (NAU).
Exterior face of east wall of south transept in advance of ground lowering.
Only post medieval sherds were found in disturbed ground.
Three skeletons uncovered but not disturbed.

The finds recovered have been deposited with the Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1999.29).
