Full Description
Pre 1976. Stray Find.
The Cambridge University Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology (CUMAA) holds a flint blade that is recorded as being from "Langham Lodge, Hillington" (1976.556.3). This is presumably an erroneous provenance as whilst there is a Langham Lodge in Langham parish (NHER 44305) there appears to be no such location in Hillington.
Although this blade is listed as Neolithic in the CUMAA's records it is recorded on (S1) as a potentially Palaeolithic object.
P. Watkins (HES), 11 February 2016.
