Summary

Metal-detecting between 2013 and 2016 recovered prehistoric worked flint including a Neolithic/Bronze Age flake and scraper; Roman and medieval pottery sherds; a post-medieval token and Roman and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include Roman brooches; Late Saxon to post-medieval spindle whorls; medieval lead standing weights, a strap-end, copper alloy vessel fragment, buckle, purse frame, lead pot mend, and a possible mount made from a silver grosso; medieval/post-medieval lead weights, a lead writing stylus and lead pot mend and a post-medieval belt hangar mount and bridle bit.

Neolithic/Bronze Age flake and scraper.
3 Roman pottery sherds and brooches.
Late Saxon to post-medieval spindle whorls.
3 medieval pottery sherds, lead standing weights, a strap-end, copper alloy vessel fragment, buckle, purse frame, lead pot mend, and a silver grosso of Pope Alexander VI adapted by the removal of a disc from its centre, possible to facilitate the grosso's use as a mount.
Medieval/post-medieval lead weights, a lead writing stylus and lead pot mend.
1 post-medieval token, a belt hangar mount and bridle bit.
