Summary

Metal-detecting between 2016 and 2017 recovered medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Late Iron Age, Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; medieval/post-medieval and post-medieval jettons and a range of other, Middle/Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a Middle/Late Saxon hooked tag; a Late Saxon Anglo-Scandinavian brooch; Late Saxon to post-medieval lead spindle whorls; medieval and post-medieval dress accessories (including a medieval silver brooch/buckle pin); a medieval lead weight, lead spindle whorl and lead pot mend; medieval/post-medieval lead weights, copper alloy rings, a copper alloy rivet and a copper alloy vessel fragment and post-medieval crotal bells, a clapper bell fragment, cufflink fragment, mount, furniture mount/escutcheon and lead cloth seal.
