Summary

A set of parallel, linear cropmarks were identified on an aerial photograph during an Air Photo Mapping Project in 2016 but were not mapped due to the likelihood they were agricultural. Their presence has been recorded however due to a possible relationship with the medieval site to the east (NHER 5632).

The site of cropmarks of probable non-archaeological origin which are visible on aerial photographs (S1). The features consisted of parallel linear ditch-like formations, having the appearance of a wide trackway, but most likely are of agricultural origin and were therefore not mapped.
