Summary

In 1996 an unprovenanced Palaeolithic flint handaxe was seen by Norwich Castle Museum staff. This implement came via Kelling Primary School and was therefore potentially from the Kelling area. It appears that no other information regarding its provenance was received.

In 1996 a Palaeolithic flint handaxe was identified and drawn by the Norwich Castle Museum (S1).
This implement was in the possession of [1] and appears to have come via Kelling Primary School. Its provenance was suggested as potentially Kelling parish, although it appears that this was not known for certain.
Although a full description of this object was probably produced this has not been found [2].
