Map

June 2013. Trial Trenching.
Evaluation of proposed route of new sludge transfer pipeline.
The trench excavated in this field revealed a single north-east to south-west aligned ditch. Although no dating evidence was recovered this feature is thought to have been a post-medieval drainage ditch.
There was no evidence for the mound previously identified in this area, although it appear that this probably lay to the east of where the trench was excavated.
See report (S1) for further details.
