Map

Former warehouse, originally part of the Dewing & Kersley steam flour mill.

The steam flour mill was opened in 1894 and comprised several separate elements: the mill itself and its adjoining boiler house, the wheat-cleaning and silo houses and the extant flour warehouse. The main mill building lay to the north of the warehouse and was built in a very similar style (although it had an additional two storeys). The engine room and chimney were demolished in the 1950s and the flour mill eventually closed in 1975. Around this time the main building was demolished and replaced by modern silos. The surviving warehouse has now been converted into flats and commercial premises.
