Summary

The vegetation marks of a ring ditch of uncertain date and archaeological significance are visible on the aerial photographs. It is possible it relates to Second World War activity associated with the nearby Barnham Camp (SHER BNH 054), although no corresponding feature is visible in February 1945. It may represent an earlier historic or even prehistoric feature, although this is not certain given the nature of the vegetation mark.
