Full Description
April 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A circular enclosure, probably a post-medieval plantation bank, is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015 (S1). Although a post-medieval date is likely, the feature is not depicted on historical Ordnance Survey maps (such as the First Edition 6-inch (S2)) and an earlier origin is possible. It could perhaps instead be of prehistoric date, or a medieval stock enclosure.
S. Tremlett (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 19 April 2017.
