Summary

Castle House is a two-storey, 3-bay residence which was built around 1820. The main building is flint over clunch, but it features a red brick façade. Architectural features include a six-panelled door, sash windows, and a gable roof with internal gable-end stacks. A single-storey extension was added to the east gable in the 20th century. The building was Listed Grade II in 1971.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"House. c1820. Flint over clunch; red brick facade. Slate roof. 2 storeys in 3 bays, the bays defined by brick pilasters. Central 6-panelled door under a moulded hood with a sash right and left without glazing bars, but under gauged skewback arches. Platband at first floor."
