Summary

Fieldwalking during the 1960s and 1970s recovered a number of prehistoric flint flakes, scrapers and a strike-a-light. Pottery sherds from the Neolithic to the post medieval period were also retrieved, as well as burnt clay and metal working debris. It is also recorded that several excavations took place and that these discovered a complete Early Bronze Age beaker and the hard fired clay of a hearth and a possible Early Bronze Age ditch.
