Map

July 2017. 'Brecks from Above' and Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A small circular pit, almost entirely surrounded by a bank, is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015 (S1), and possibly also on aerial photographs (such as S2). The feature is undated, but is likely to be modern, and could feasibly be a Second World War gun emplacement or weapons pit. There is, however, no supporting evidence for this suggestion, and no obvious signs of military activity in the immediate vicinity.
