Summary

A small structure visible in Thetford Forest on 1940s aerial photographs may be one of the fire lookout towers erected across the forest in the 1940s. Alternatively, it could instead be a Second World War military structure, or an elevanted water tank. There is no evidence on more recent imagery that any above-ground remains still survive.
