Summary

An undated mound is visible as an earthwork on imagery from a lidar survey flown in 2015, and has also been identified on the ground. Like two other mounds identified in the vicinity (NHER 62047 and 62048), it could represent a Bronze Age round barrow. However, its rather conical shape may indicate a more recent origin.

Like two other mounds identified in the vicinity (NHER 62047 and NHER 62048), it could represent a Bronze Age round barrow. However, its rather conical shape – evident on the lidar and during a site visit - may indicate a more recent origin.
