Summary

This two-storey building dates to the 18th century and was extensively renovated during the 20th century. It is red brick with a pantile roof. What was previously the stable block has the remains of original mews arches. No 11 Calvert Street is Listed Grade II.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"House. Late 18th century with 20th-century renovation. Red brick and pantile roof. The building is ranged at right angles to the street line. Two storeys.
Street facade:- Three bays. Door to left-side with plain double-order pilasters, open pediment and semi-circular fanlight. Sash windows throughout with keystone at ground floor."

Notes probably produced as part of the Norwich Survey (S2) describe this building as two remaining blocks of an 18th-century development, whose character has been masked by modern restoration. Many of the internal fittings have been imported from elsewhere. The stable block has the remains of original mews arches.
